According to an article I read on CBS8 http://www.cbs8.com/story/34928512/short-term-vacation-rentals-no-longer-permitted-in-san-diego short term rental is not allowed under current rules. What's the implication of this latest development? Does it affect other surrounding cities, like Oceanside or Carlsbad?

Thx

This piece says they are still debating how to handle them.

It would seem to be a messy issue. You can't outlaw rental property. If you say I can't rent out my house you take some value away. Short term only?

Good that you have mentioned it since I always look for AirBnb in terms of vacation rentals. Honestly, I found the site convenient ad reliable.
