I wondered why this made the front page of the NY Times, but apparently it was cited as being
what California cities need to do in order to avoid the housing shortage.

The address as 1310 Haskell Street in Berkeley.  The yard was .17 of an acre----roughly 7405 square feet---not exactly a huge lot if you are going to build 3 houses.

This is a real victory since this is probably a very pricey area if it is part of Berkeley.
