Real estate assessments were raised during the oil boom as much as 300% and 400% but the City and County have refused to lower them any significant amount since the oil bust in 2015. I am bringing litigation to get the City and County to lower real estate assessments to match market values as required by law. https://www.gofundme.com/real-estate-tax-assessment-revolt Your comments and support would be appreciated .

You would think so, but so far 100% of all assessment appeals have been denied. Same with court cases. It seems the courts in North Dakota are not interested the values only did you get a hearing at the city and county level. If you did you lose unless you can prove the commissioners acted in an arbitrary and capricious manner. That is why I am asking every commercial property owner in Dickinson to join me in this fight and support from everyone that owns real estate. How can an income property be worth a million dollars assessed value when it iproduces no net operating income before debt, let alone after debt, but that is what has happened to property owners in Dickinson, ND. They raised the values during the oil boom but so far have refused to lower them any significant amount in the bust.
