Anyone else getting a "Carbon Credit" discount on their electric bill?

SCE notified me of a credit I would be receiving as a result of SCE buying 'carbon credits' from the State of California.

I have no idea how this works, but it seems someone is bound and determined to give credibility to man-made Climate Change.

These leftist, earth-worshipers will not give this hoax a rest.

Last I read, there were more than 30,000 scientists who agree there is no such thing as a 'man-made' climate catastrophe.

I remember getting this.  Just a bunch of cap and trade, carbon credit nonsense.
This is like papal dispensations that can get you out of hell and into heaven.
You pay real money for an intangible value.  What could be better than selling nothing and getting real money?  Just wait for the outrage when some counterfeiter sells phony carbon credits.  Like they all aren't phony.  
You can punish non politically correct behavior or not good for the ecology behavior.
You can reward your friends and the ideologically pure.
I'm sure this is the biggest growth industry in politics.  Remember the mother's milk of politics?
I'm sure some politician will be coming around at election time to remind us of how they provided carbon credits to the great unwashed.

You know, the global warming, cooling and climate change religionists are fed up with the public's apathy toward their hoax. 

So, they plan to introduce 'schlock therapy' into the mind of the public, by suggesting that not only is the climate changing, but it's in a "Global Meltdown” and we'll soon suffer a “Climate Collapse.”  

Never mind there's still no evidence of this, but they have faith that their apocalyptic fantasies will come true ...eventually.  Sort of like hoping for the 2nd Coming of Christ for Christians.  I have more faith in Christ coming back, then I do of a climate collapse.  But that's just me.

Meantime, the ice caps aren't gonna melt themselves, so I'm gonna out-do the Chinese by driving my old Ford pickup, with the blown valves, and spew blue-black smoke into the air, creating my own climate collapse all up and down the 5 freeway. 

You know, doing my part to make the climate hoax come true.
